This just in from Florida Realtors: Statewide, five percent greater numbers of single family homes sold, at a four percent reduction in median selling price.
On Anna Maria Island, sales of single family homes were up 45 percent, at an average decrease in selling price per square foot of three percent. Average selling price is down four percent.
Condo sales statewide jumped 29 percent, but with a median sales price loss of 15 percent. Anna Maria condo sales were relatively flat with only one fewer sale in 2010 than 2009, with a median price per square foot down five percent. Island average selling price was down 12 percent.
