I've seen notices, been to a Realtor-only info meeting, and now this: a very basic website announcing Harbour Isle on Anna Maria Sound from the Minto organization.

The product they showed at the meeting is the lowest-priced likely to go on this site, which is permitted for more than 600 total residences. But the price level seems about right for the current times, at about $200 per square foot. Should include many niceties, a two car garage, which is a bonus, and a gated community.
Later, they'll bring out whatever else may go onsite, including a marina, retail area, more amenities, etc. But in the meantime, you should be able to purchase a 1,600 square foot (MOL) condo for around $300K.
Minto has a decent reputation as a Canadian company. The St. Joe folks who tried Seven Shores at this location were sunk by the economy. We'll see if Harbour Isle has better luck.
Let me know if you're looking for more on this type of development. I'll keep you informed.
