Home and Investment Property Sales in Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach, FL

In summary, although we're starting to see prices stabilize in some categories, there's still a general decline in average price per square foot. That includes residential, condo and investment property sales, in a variety of product types. And although 2008 seemed to be starting out as a pretty decent year at least in terms of the number of sales, September has only one-third the number of sales of the prior year.

The economic turmoil has indeed put a stop to most sales. That's a pity, because there are some really good opportunities on Anna Maria Island right now. To discuss the information below, don't hesitate to call or email.

Finally, I've gotten the access to statistics that I need to develop accurate sales information for my buyers and sellers here on Anna Maria Island. Our Mid-Florida Regional MLS website, while much more powerful than the prior MLS provider's was, is not nearly as user-friendly.

I've compiled information for year to date and current month comparisons. And you can find other data here in the blog from prior months and years.

This sales information includes properties in Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach. Residential properties listed include single-family homes, half-duplexes, villas and/or townhomes. Condo properties include condos, modular homes, Planned Unit Development and co-ops. There are no PUDs, modluar homes or co-ops on the island, but in case something has been incorrectly listed, at least it will be incorrectly listed in the 'proper' category!

And it takes about four hours to gather and insert and then re-check this information, in the (I hope) useful format which you see here.
